Favourite school things

1 home schooling sheet for children who are currently working from home. Give them a little reminder of all the things they have missed whilst being home schooled. It’s going to be an anxious few weeks for some children with the thought of having to return to school after having such a length of time away from the classroom. This is just a little reminder to jog their memories of the things that they enjoyed.

2 simple pictures at night. 1 picture has everything in darkness and the children have to try and see if they can find all the objects and how easy it was to find them. The 2nd picture is exactly the same but the people, pets etc are wearing lighter/brighter clothes. Children can then compare both pictures to see if they were correct and which clothing is best at night.

Father's Day tie Card

(1)
A simple, but effective, card for Father’s day. You can make this as simple as you like. You can cut the easy resources out or get the children to do it, depending on the age. They can then either colour the shirt or you can print it onto coloured paper. The children then colour in the tie and stick it to the shirt, which is then placed onto a folded piece of A4 paper. There is then space for the children to write on the front of the card or the A4 card can be trimmed down to fit. There are also inserts which have been differentiated 3 ways.

At the end each group announce which story they think it is then show their card to the rest of the class to see if their pictures match up to the story they think it’s from.
